Social Evenings
These are held at the same
venue as the Check Drives on the Second Tuesday of each month. We now have a
rolling programme throughout the year so that we can include Associate Theory
training and some Observer meetings. They begin at 7.45pm and usually end at
about 9.30pm. They are open to ALL Group members and their families. If
there is no guest speaker or subject below, we have yet to confirm a speaker
for that date - it does not mean the date has been cancelled.
Dates for you to book. 8th December. Social evening. Skittles night.
We have a Guest Speaker at
each one. In the past these have included representatives from Warwickshire
Police (including a hands on demonstration of radar and laser speed detectors),
the West Midlands Fire Brigade driver training unit, the West Midlands Police
accident investigation team, the Red Cross, and even the Samaritans.
